Photography started out as a bit of a hobby for me, a slight departure from my professional role as video producer. Many of the essential skills and elements I used everyday in my videography work, such as shot framing, proper exposure control and lighting are shared between the two mediums. I found that while I love capturing molments on video, there is a certain level of challenge to photography that I crave. A competitive spirit almost, where I’m challenged to not tell a story in 29 frames per second as in video, but in a single still frame. Most of my photography experience is in sports and candid event photography, but I also enjoy portrait photography as well.
